Glendon College

One of my favourite jobs was at York University’s Glendon College, where I spent several years as the research assistant for Edelgard Mahant. With Professor Mahant, a European politics specialist, an expert in democracy in sub-Saharan Africa and Canada-United States relations, I gained experience with long research papers and the process of academic publication. It was with her help, encouragement, and honesty, that I caught a glimpse at life in the Academy.

It was by coincidence that I learned that we both hailed from Toronto–Danforth.
