Humanity and a Tale of Two Corporations

If you want to observe a wide-selection of people or human “archetypes,” don’t go to the place with bland, bitter, and overpriced coffee. If you want to see life in the making, full of passion, boredom, struggle and suffering, hopes and dreams, don’t go to where wealthy people slum dive and walk around like hippies. Indeed, I find no reason to go to Starbucks other than for an overpriced but tasty rice crispy square.

Instead, go to McDonalds, where the wealthy, the white-collar, the poor, along with the displaced meet for a better-tasting and often free cup coffee.
